HIP DYSPLASIA
All have been scored under The Joint Kennel Club /British Veterinary Association (KC / BVA) Hip Dysplasia Scheme. Under this scheme, the lower the score the less the degree of hip dysplasia. The maximum possible score is a total of 106 i.e Right Hip 53 /Left Hip 53.
ANNUAL EYE CERTIFICATE
The dogs have been examined under the KC /BVA/ISDS Eye Scheme. The results are registered with the Kennel Club. Dogs have been listed as either affected or unaffected with any conditions specified.
N.B. “Unaffected” on an Annual Eye Test Form means the dog is clinically unaffected at the time of testing.
DNA TESTS
Joint KC/OptiGen Scheme for prcd-PRA (Progressive Retinal Atrophy).
The test determines whether a dog is CLEAR (no copies of the mutant gene), a CARRIER (one copy of the mutant gene & one normal gene) or AFFECTED (two copies of the mutant gene.

ELBOW DYSPLASIA
Under the KC/BVA Elbow Dysplasia Scheme, a single grade is used to indicate the degree of Elbow Dysplasia. Each elbow is graded 0-3 but only the highest value (right or left) is used as the overall grade. The lower the overall grade , the less the degree of elbow dysplasia.
